Rudder Work - 2 hours

Just did a little work tonight.  Trimmed the rudder trailing edge and clecoed the second skin to the frame for the rudder, match drilled and marked the skins.

After that, I took everything apart for debur, prep and prime.  Sometimes I feel like I'm playing a big game of shoots and ladders.  One step forward, two back...  Oh well. :)

I am still missing the PreKote, it seems to be on back order.  I will do as much as I can and move on to the next step.  Looks like I will have a lot to prime once I'm ready.

Rudder work - Me 5 hours, Jim 3 hours.

Today was a productive day.  Jim from the local EAA club came by to assist and we were able to get a lot of the rudder together.  I cut and trimmed the rudder ribs before Jim arrived, but we got the ribs onto the spar and got the right skin attached.  Another day that we have what looks to be an airplane part in the garage.  Here is the product of today's work.
